Share The Warmth is a program administered by Texas Gas Service and area non-profit organizations that provides energy assistance. It helps Texans facing financial emergencies pay their home heating costs and stay warm through the winter. Share The Warmth (formerly known as Project Care) is available to Texans in the 33 counties served by Texas Gas Service and is a lifesaver for those with nowhere else to turn.
The program is primarily designed to help senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and those whose immediate cash resources simply cannot cover their home heating expenses. All applications for aid are processed through non-profit organizations serving Texas Gas Service communities. Payments are made directly to the utility or fuel supplier on behalf of the person chosen to receive the aid.
Share The Warmth helps people regardless of how they heat their home. It makes no difference–the goal is to keep people warm.
Giving is Easy
You can contribute by checking the Share The Warmth box indicated on your payment coupon and adding the extra amount to your natural gas payment, or by signing in to your account below. You can give as little or as much as you'd like.
ONEOK Foundation matches your donations to help warm homes in Texas.
The ONEOK Foundation recently donated over $44,000 to provide energy assistance through the Share the Warmth program. This amount represents a 15 percent match to contributions made directly by Texas Gas Service customers. Residents will be qualified for assistance by using established guidelines and eligibility criteria through selected area non-profit organizations.
