Share the Warmth

A Lifesaver for Those with Nowhere Else to Turn
It is good to know that there are people in our community who are willing to help their neighbors in times of need. Helping each other improves the quality of life for everyone. That's what Share the Warmth is all about. It helps Texans facing financial emergencies pay their home heating costs and stay warm through the winter. Thanks to donations from customers, employees and businesses, people who need assistance paying their utility bills have received help - help they needed.

Share the Warmth funds are collected by Texas Gas Service and administered by the local agencies and counties we serve.

You can help make living less of a struggle for area residents by contributing to Share the Warmth. Currently, there are three ways you can help:

  • You can check the space designating a gift to Share the Warmth on your monthly Texas Gas Service bill, and to then overpay the bill in the amount you desire to contribute.  You can give as little or as much as you’d like.
  • Share the Warmth Pledge Program is a convenient way to contribute for our customers who are on the automatic pay program or anyone who wants to make an automatic monthly payment. You may designate any amount you choose to be added to your bill each month.
  • Make a one-time contribution by mailing a check, money order, or cashiers check to:
