Texas Gas Service offers many natural gas conservation rebates for its customers living within the Austin, Sunset Valley, Cedar Park, Kyle, Rollingwood and West Lake Hills city limits.

Rebates are fine-tuned each year to respond to customer demand and new technologies, so make sure you have the latest information by checking back annually.

Why the Austin area?

In the mid-1980s, the Austin City Council decided to require Texas Gas Service to collect a special fee from local natural gas customers to fund conservation programs and activities. This "conservation adjustment clause" provides the funds for the Conservation Program and its rebates, activities and staff.

In 2009, the Conservation Program expanded to include customers within the Cedar Park, Kyle, Rollingwood and West Lake Hills city limits.
