Texas Gas Service is working as quickly and safely as we can. If at all possible, we hope to begin re-lighting customers as early as tomorrow and will continue until we reach all customers.

Our natural gas supplier informed us that they believe the liquids came from the upstream pipeline into our system.
An issue with the quality of natural gas that was delivered to us has caused an unexpected interruption of service. The natural gas system will be temporarily shut down so that the issue can be corrected.

We are working to restore natural gas service, and are mobilizing extra crews from around the state of Texas, as well as our Oklahoma company, Oklahoma Natural Gas, in an effort to restore natural gas service to residents and businesses.

CNG (compressed natural gas) trailers from around the state are en route to help provide natural gas service to the area hospital and two assisted living facilities. With colder conditions, we are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore our distribution system in Jacksboro. We apologize for this inconvenience. Texas Gas Service is working with the City of Jacksboro to set up centers at the following locations.

Activity Center (Old Armory) 1114 State Highway 59
Jack City Fair Barn 1072 State Highway 59
The Red Cross is also on site to assist at the Twin Lakes Community Center, 1114 SH 59, Jacksboro
