Texas Gas Service Sustainability Highlights
Texas Gas Service employees actively support our companywide sustainability efforts, including providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting communities across the state. Here are just a few of the ways their efforts are highlighted in our 2024 Sustainability Report:

We supported the Harlingen Neighborhood Food Pantry with a $10,000 grant. The food pantry distributes approximately 70,000 pounds of food and serves nearly 800 families monthly. Rising food costs contributed to an increase in first-time clients in 2024. Read more about our community giving on page 35.

We supply low-emission compressed natural gas (CNG) to public and private fueling stations across Texas. The use of CNG supplied by our company in 2024 avoided more than 47,000 metric tons of CO2e compared to gasoline or diesel fuel, equivalent to removing more than approximately 11,000 passenger vehicles from the road*. We are participating in the H2@Scale project with GTI Energy in Austin, a national hydrogen laboratory, to understand hydrogen's potential national and regional benefits for energy storage, resiliency and emissions reduction. Learn more on page 26.
